In the PBA Config Tool you can set positions manualy (I recommend this for getting them close). And then in game from the main menu you can choose settings and there is a screen position option that will let you move them around. We're working on a solution to make the in game version allow for faster movement. To position the windows manually, your main display is typically at 0,0 in desktop space.
Then depending on how they are oriented to each other you should be able to calculate where to place the others. For example, many cabinets setup so the playfield is the main screen, DMD is above it and backglass above that. So your playfield would be at 0,0 and 1080x1920. DMD might be 0, -1080, and backglass at 0,-2160 assuming all screens are 1920x1080.In a case of having dual monitors next to each other. Main screen would be at 0,0 and the screen to the right would bet at 1080,0.Also note, cabinet does not work if the main buffer resolution isn't portrait. Pinball Arcade is the most realistic and comprehensive pinball game ever created! Tales of the Arabian Nights™ is included for free with over 70 classic pinball tables available in-game. This expansive digital arcade features exact recreations of the all-time greatest pinball tables from Williams®, Bally®, Stern Pinball®, and Gottlieb.
At the far end of my monitor away from me it is very zoomed out I can see the back box and the floor and wall behind the machine and everything. Any advice?I totally agree and on top of that their version of true 'cabinet views' for monster bash and medieval madness (all i have checked so far) have cut off the majority of the back portion of the cabinets so some toys are not visible. Further to that it is a perpendicular 90degree overhead 2dimensional view of the table so you can't see the trolls in medeival madness, you see the bald spot on the genie in TOTAN and there is no realistic view of the back of the table as a person standing at the front would not be looking down overtop from the center as he plays the game. Having seen that the camera views can be 'hacked' into, this upgrade has only locked certain views in a 3d space without actually improving or providing some sort of real cabinet cabinet view like visual pinball or future pinball. As jamman39 says, the other views zoom out and give a narrowing view which is offset from the center of the table and is simply a vertical view of the standard pinball arcade game. This is not even close to what the angles look like in their preview.
I hope that they fix it because I like the games and play, but the images are not as described. That being said it is the classic pinball arcade with quality recreations, it appears that they didnt do much with the cab mode views aside from play with the camera angles (which other hacked solutions did for free). Moving the backglass took everything out of fullscreen mode and screw up the main display. The values in the cabinet settings weren't helping either. Setting the correct values in the DX11 tab as jamman39 has said did the trick and all the screens are in the right place.HOWEVER, the main camera angle is still at the old 3/4 view and not in the proper view as shown in this video: Does anyone know how to get that sorted out? I thought that pressing the 1, 2, and 3 keys might change the camera, but that is not the case.
